Long time… again…. :/
Just to get you caught up. I did finish the Avengers half marathon! Was it a PR? No way, but it was under the runDisney 16 min mile requirement.
Now, moving on to 2016!
ahh.. good ol’ New Years Resolutions? Have you made any? And are you still abiding by them?
I am.. sort of.
I vowed to myself that I wouldn’t make some ridiculous goal this year. Like losing 20 pounds in 4 weeks. Wouldn’t that be nice!
I made a small goal. Well, actually 3 small goals.
- Start moving more.
- Start eating better.
- Lose 25-30 pounds this year.
And I am happy to report that I have been great with #1! Yea me!
Back in January I started keeping track of my weight and have been logging my food intake into My Fitness Pal.
And of course I have been a yo-yo ever since. BUT I have been going to the gym and resumed running again.
I even joined a training group through Charm City Run. Which is HUGE for me considering I like to run alone. But I needed to for the accountability and it’s been going great so far. We meet twice a week, once on Tuesdays for speed work and then a long run on Saturdays.
So #1 has been going well.
#2, not so much.
BUT, I am going to do something about that. I am going to begin a 30 day weight loss program with IsAgenix. A friend of mine started this last year and over the course of a year I have seen such a transformation in her. Not only has she lost weight, but she swears by how great she feels. I then talked to two other friends who swear by it as well. So, what the heck. I’m going to try it to.
What do I have to lose…. except 25-30 pounds.
